Action launched a new service for veterans.

The “Action” app now offers a new service for veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: reimbursement for the cost of their motor vehicle liability insurance policy.

The press service of “Action” reported this.

According to the program’s terms, the insurance company reimburses 50% of the cost of motor insurance, and the state reimburses the remaining 50%. As a result, veterans receive insurance coverage free of charge.

Users who hold a veteran’s ID card (UBD or OIS) can apply in the Action app, who signed a motor insurance policy after January 1, 2025, using the discount, who own a vehicle with an engine capacity of up to 2500 cm³ or an electric vehicle with a power output of up to 100 kW, or who drive a car.

To receive compensation, you need to update the Action app, go to the Services section, then Veteran PRO, select the Motor Insurance Compensation service, confirm the benefit agreement, and select Action.Card to deposit funds.

The service was implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Transformation in partnership with the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.

As a reminder, Ukraine plans to make tachographs mandatory for trucks and passenger vehicles, as well as establish clear rules for driver driving and rest periods. The goal of these changes is to bring Ukrainian legislation closer to European standards and improve road safety.
