The fifth President, leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, sent another batch of special equipment and supplies worth nearly 15 million hryvnia to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The donated equipment is intended to meet the urgent needs of military personnel immediately before the onset of the winter period, as state support for these positions remains inadequate.
“Today, Ukraine’s existence depends precisely on how well-equipped the Armed Forces are. And you and I have no doubt – Ukraine will exist,” stated Petro Poroshenko.
Frontline troops received mobile tire shops, light-duty buggies, mobile sawmills, ATVs, and generators. Defenders call these items critically needed for missions during freezing temperatures.

Petro Poroshenko also once again called for an increase in pay for Ukrainian Armed Forces service members in 2027.
“The 2027 state budget is currently being discussed. What do we see there? Salary increases for judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officers. And we don’t see any increase in the pay of soldiers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We can’t allow this. Therefore, we will cut all their eBays and cashbacks, and give all these billions of hryvnias to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.
As reported by Pryamyi , Petro Poroshenko called for all populist and corrupt spending items to be removed from the 2027 State Budget, with the freed-up funds being directed exclusively toward defense and strengthening the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In addition, the European Solidarity faction in the Kyiv City Council proposes reviewing the capital’s budget expenditures and finding at least an additional 1 billion hryvnias to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces and defend Kyiv.
