Even during World War II, the Nazis hoped that by raiding cities and civilian objects, they would be able to force the victims, including Britain, to surrender—but that’s not how it works: the British response to such actions is well described by the phrase “cold fury”—we must adopt it
It’s proven that it doesn’t work that way. But the Nazis’ followers—the racists—decided that they simply didn’t try hard enough. If they stockpile more missiles and drones and attack civilian infrastructure, they can make life unbearable. And also fuel panic with information.
The British response to such actions is best described as “cold fury.” We must embrace it.
But it’s not only and not so much about resilience, indomitability, and the morning “sigh, YR.”
This is about answers that protect their own and destroy the enemy.
About money for the army. Next week, there are changes to the budget. No transfers of defense articles to manual control, “reserve funds,” or “cabinet decisions.” Transparent procedures, expansion of brigade funding, and procurement of the best, not “Midas.”
About the mass production of offensive and defensive weapons. Ideas and technologies—into production; production—own and partner funds under control from embezzlement; the output—on the heads of the racists. And not in a video about “thousands of missiles,” “flocks of flamingo,” or other serial phantasmagoria.
About adult work with partners. Not moaning, complaining about injustice, and making accusations. But constant work pressure, with the involvement of personnel, parliamentary experts, humanitarian, or any kind of diplomacy.
About quickly taking into account reports of problems and solving problems, both on the front and in communities. The speed of response and the quality of management and support can outweigh the stupid mass if it exists.
About adequate information policy. Not spreading rumors about an “offensive from Belarus,” “circular defense,” or “nuclear strike” against the backdrop of predictions of “peace in the fall/spring” to distract from the corruption scandal. But explaining what to do, why Russian fakes are lies.
On reporting on how corruption is being overcome. Removal of those involved and non-interference in the work of anti-corruption institutions. Return of “embezzled” funds.
About European integration – on the way to strengthening the institutions that make the country democratic and, therefore, able to withstand the horde with the help of allies. And regarding the antics of neighbors – see the point about adult diplomacy.
Cold rage is “cold” because without fuss, pathos, and loud cries, the enemy is destroyed, and the security of Ukrainians is increased.
Tonight – and everything that preceded it – showed that there is no alternative.
To concentrate, to persevere, to constantly increase the pressure. To do this, you have to be capable.
Because wars are won through capability, not deceit or lies.
