A shooting occurred in the Svitlovodsk City Council building in the Kirovohrad region. There are injuries.
This was reported by the press service of the Svetlovodsk City Council.
It is known that First Deputy Mayor Sergei Savich opened fire in the executive committee building. Employees and visitors were inside at the time.
As a result of the shooting, one person was injured by a traumatic weapon and is receiving the necessary medical attention.
Prior to this, Sergei Savich behaved aggressively, made threats, and used obscene language towards the secretary of the Svetlovodsk city council, Maxim Bakumenko.
In particular, part of this conflict was recorded on Savich’s own social media accounts. A confrontation ensued between him and the unknown individuals: he repeatedly warned them not to approach, after which he fired several shots.
Previously, “Pryamiy” reported that in Dnipro’s Sobornyi district, a local resident opened fire on a public address team during an event involving representatives of the territorial recruitment and social support center. The investigation is ongoing.
As a reminder, law enforcement officers in Kyiv detained a man suspected of shooting in the Svyatoshinsky district of the capital. No one was injured in the incident, and investigators have opened a criminal investigation for hooliganism.
