Sure, Here’s $340 Billion for the Army — Just Let Me Find It First

The best gift to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from politicians wouldn’t be social media rhetoric, but a real increase in financial support.

Nina Yuzhanina studied every line of the draft, while European Solidarity prepared amendments to eliminate corrupt and ineffective expenditures and redirect funds to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

They held briefings, blocked the rostrum, met with the government, worked with the budget committee, and demanded that the Verkhovna Rada vote on the budget article by article, rather than approving the entire resolution at once.

“But who paid attention? We aimed to redirect the so-called ‘Ministry of Finance reserve’ (200 billion hryvnias) — meant for cashback programs and the ‘war thousand’ — to truly strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

And also redirect to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
▪ 10 billion – health screening
▪ 6 billion – reduction in expenditures of the GPU, SBI, Accounting, Verkhovna Rada!!!, CMU, OP, DUS, etc.
▪ 5.5 billion – telethon and “strategic communications.”
▪ 2.5 billion – services to the State Administrative Court, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the State Bureau of Investigation, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, and the Ministry of Finance
▪ 1 billion – special groups of advisors to ministries

The Armed Forces of Ukraine should receive 36 billion – “development spending”, in particular:
▪ 13.7 billion – investment projects of the Ministry of Public Administration
▪ 12.5 billion – road construction
▪ 4.3 billion – innovation development fund, e-government
▪ 2 billion – SFRD
▪ 1.5 billion – DUS, Prosecutor General’s Office, State Bureau of Investigation, Ministry of Justice
▪ UAH 7 billion – expenditures invented for the second reading:
▪ 4.3 billion – purchase of passenger cars
▪ 1.3 billion – financing of Ukrfinzhitl
▪ 0.7 billion – servicing the Cabinet of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada, the Antimonopoly Service, the ARMA, the Audit Service, the Ministry of Justice
▪ 0.5 billion – hydrometeorological activities

More than UAH 34 billion in revenues from high-profit industries must be brought out of the shadows and directed to the budget:
• 13 billion – gambling business
• 18 billion – tobacco products
• 3 billion – alcoholic beverages

Here you have 340 billion for the army!

We once again call on Zelenskyy to veto the budget for 2026, and for the Verkhovna Rada to finalize it together, taking into account the proposals of the “EU”, and adopt it in a form that will not cause outrage among the military.
