I was following the Armed Forces of Ukraine: a Russian agent was detained in the Kharkiv region

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another person responsible for directing enemy attacks on the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

According to the investigation, the man traveled around the region on foot or by public transport and monitored the locations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

For completing the tasks, the curators promised him evacuation to the Russian Federation.

The SBU counterintelligence detained the attacker just as he was preparing a report for his “curator.”

It is known that the corrector turned out to be a local handyman.

According to the special services, Russian curators drew attention to him because of the pro-Kremlin comments he left in Telegram chats.

After recruitment, the agent underwent detailed instruction on collecting the necessary intelligence, as well as methods of conspiracy when communicating with his superiors.

SBU officers detained him at his place of residence. During the search, they seized a smartphone from the man containing evidence of intelligence and subversive activities in favor of the Russian Federation.

The detainee was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law.

The suspect is currently being held without bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Previously, “Pryamiy” reported that a minor Russian agent was detained in the Kharkiv region , who was coordinating enemy strikes in the region.

Also in the Kharkiv region, a recruited agent of the Russian FSB was exposed , who was passing coordinates for attacks to the enemy.
