“In a few weeks”: Poland knows when Ukraine will begin producing Patriot missiles.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh predicted when Patriot missile production might begin in Ukraine.
Responding to a question from Polish media about Poland’s role in the announced production of Patriot missiles in Ukraine, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysh said that the transfer of equipment to Ukraine is not taking place without Poland’s participation.
“Our country is one of four NATO countries—in addition to Poland, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands—to which Ankara has granted the status of a country to which technologies related to the production and maintenance of Patriot missiles can be transferred. Poland is one of the countries designated by the United States for this production and maintenance, so we will cooperate with Ukraine here as well.”
When asked when missile production in Ukraine might begin, the Polish Minister of Defense estimated it would take several weeks. “This is not easy, given that the United States alone produces Patriot missiles on a scale that doesn’t even cover the US defense, so this needs to be done very quickly. We are determined. Poland is ready to immediately service and conduct further operations ,” he stated.
As reported by Pryamoy, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara, US President Donald Trump promised to grant Ukraine a license to produce missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft systems.
