The attacked enterprise is part of the Russian military-industrial complex and manufactures electronic components for a number of weapons, including the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun complex, Kh-101 cruise missiles, and Iskander-K and Caliber missiles.

The plant produces products used in radar stations and air defense systems, including the S-400.

The enterprise also produced electronic component base, in particular transistor assemblies and matrices for the “UVK-208” block, which were used in the Kh-101 missile system.

Also, within the framework of cooperation on the creation of the 9M727 cruise missile of the Iskander-K complex, the company was engaged in the manufacture and supply of semiconductor matrices for the Zarya-61M onboard digital computer.

The plant provided the production of individual electronic elements for the 72V6 combat vehicle of the Pantsir-S1 complex and its modifications, including diodes and transistor assemblies for the TVK-2 television guidance channel.

In particular, the Russian authorities confirmed the attack on the Voronezh region.

The regional governor said that several high-speed air targets were allegedly destroyed over the region. He also reported damage to one of the enterprises.

According to him, three people were injured. However, he did not provide precise information about the enterprise that was attacked.
