Iran launches massive attack on United Arab Emirates: five-star hotel on fire in Dubai, one dead

A fire broke out near the Fairmont The Palm hotel on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai after a munition fell amid attacks by Iran. The Ministry of Defense announced the interception of missiles and confirmed the death of 1 civilian due to falling debris.
This was reported by the UAE Ministry of Defense.
The agency said the UAE was attacked using Iranian ballistic missiles, and air defense systems intercepted a number of targets.
“The UAE was subjected to a blatant attack using Iranian ballistic missiles,” the UAE Ministry of Defense said.
It is also noted that rocket debris fell in a residential area, which led to material damage.
“One civilian of Asian nationality died as a result of falling debris,” the department reported.
The ministry condemned the attack and declared the state’s right to respond.
“The UAE reserves the full right to respond to this escalation and take all necessary measures to protect its territory, citizens and residents,” the UAE Ministry of Defense said.
Later, the agency reported the interception of a new wave of Iranian missiles.
In Dubai, DXB and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International airports have been suspended indefinitely.
“Flight operations at DXB and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International are suspended until further notice. Guests are advised not to travel to the airport and to check flight information with their airlines,” Dubai Airports said.
Recall that on February 28, Israel launched preemptive strikes on Iran, and also attacked Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon . A state of emergency was declared throughout the country.

At the same time, Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Iran’s aggression against the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan and declared its readiness to “provide all its capabilities to support them in all measures they take.”
