New details are emerging around the Mindichgate case that may directly concern the former leadership of the Office of the President. Experts are discussing the existence of video footage that records Andriy Yermak’s visit to the construction site of giant private houses.

Oleksandr Bryhynets, a People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the seventh and eighth convocations, suggested on the air of “Pryamoy” that this could be the basis for official suspicion of the official.

“It’s very interesting that if this case about Yermak is really going to be filled with new suspicion tomorrow. They say that there is supposedly a video where Yermak was at this place where four giant houses are being built,” he noted.

According to published data, four objects are being built on the site, one of which is associated with Mindich, another with Chernyshov, and the rest with top state officials. Of particular interest is the fact that over one million from the so-called “Mindich’s common fund” has been allocated to prepare construction for winter.

The former People’s Deputy emphasized that although the President of Ukraine has immunity by law, the emergence of such evidence will be a serious signal to Ukraine’s international partners.

Meanwhile, former head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak has officially returned to practicing law , having renewed his license. According to Bryhynets, this step may be an attempt to obtain procedural protection from the actions of law enforcement agencies, since such a status significantly complicates the procedure for searches and serving of suspicions.

“They no longer trust Zelensky, they don’t trust that Zelensky can stop this process with a punch, a table, or whatever he has. And they are looking for some other way to protect themselves,” the studio guest explains.

According to him, a similar path was previously chosen by Bakanov, which indicates a certain trend among those close to the government. The status of a lawyer implies that any investigative actions or suspicions must be authorized at the level of the Prosecutor General.

According to Bryhynets, such actions indicate the president’s entourage’s lack of confidence in Bankova’s ability to block the investigation using political methods, so they are moving into the realm of legal self-defense.

We remind you that on the eve of the NABU and SAPO sent documents for Interpol to put businessmen Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zukerman on the wanted list – defendants in the “Midas” case regarding corruption in the energy sector.

It should be noted that in mid-January, the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Semen Kryvonos, stated that the former head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, and the former Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, currently do not have the status of suspects in the so-called “Mindich case.”

Kryvonos then emphasized that no searches were conducted in the office of the then head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, in November 2025. At the same time, he refused to comment on whether any other investigative actions were taking place, citing the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation.
