The Russian command is transferring significant forces from the reserve to intensify offensive operations in eastern Ukraine. This includes approximately 20,000 servicemen, who are planned to be deployed to implement the Kremlin’s ambitious plans in the Donetsk direction.
This was reported on the air of “Pryamoy” by Ivan Stupak, a military analyst and former SBU employee.
According to him, the enemy has set specific deadlines for completing the occupation of the region. The occupation group is trying to increase pressure not only in the Donetsk region, but also in the southeastern sector of the front, using available human resources.
“The main goal of the enemy’s actions, allegedly according to sources, is an attempt to capture the entire territory of the Donetsk region by September. The Rashists have such deadlines,” Stupak noted.
At the same time, he noted that to replenish the ranks, the aggressor is attracting suspects under investigation and students. As of March, the Russian General Staff operated a reserve of 58 thousand people directly on Ukrainian territory, and a third of these forces are now being thrown into the assault on the Donetsk region, the military analyst added.
At the same time, according to his information, the number of Russian troops in Ukraine has undergone certain changes, which may indicate malfunctions in the aggressor’s military machine: currently, there are about 680,000 occupiers at the front, although previously this figure reached 717,000.
To compensate for the monthly losses, which amount to about 30 thousand people, the Kremlin significantly increased one-time payments for signing contracts – in some regions the amounts have become astronomical, turning the war into a specific method of earning money for the population, explains Ivan Stupak.
As a reminder, the Pokrovsky direction remains one of the most tense sections of the front, where Russian troops are making attempts to flank and reach the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The main enemy efforts are concentrated in the areas of the settlements of Hryshyne and Rodynske.
Meanwhile, Russian occupation forces continue to press on the Pokrovska and Myrnograd districts in Donetsk region. The enemy has the opportunity to accumulate infantry and equipment in the northern part of Myrnograd, as Ukrainian drones cannot reach them. In addition, the Russians are moving deeper near Rivne. According to analysts, the advance there threatens the military holding positions near Svetly.
