NATO has revealed details of its financial aid to Ukraine.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that not all countries are funding Ukraine’s military needs. According to him, only six or seven countries are currently bearing the brunt of the aid.
Rutte stated this during a briefing at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Alliance member states in Helsingborg .
He noted that Ukraine continues to receive assistance under the Ukraine Priority Demands List (PURL) initiative.
“In essence, this is already happening. The supply of critical American equipment to Ukraine continues. This includes anti-ballistic missiles and missile defense support, particularly for the Patriot systems. This is being paid for by European allies within the PURL framework. This continues,” the Secretary-General explained.
Rutte emphasized that he would like to see more countries participating in funding Ukraine’s military needs within the framework of this initiative.
In his opinion, the costs of supporting Ukraine should be distributed equally among all NATO members.
“I want to achieve a more even distribution of the burden,” Mark Rutte said.
He also added that currently only 6-7 countries are “doing the hard work.”
“The good news is that what they’re doing is sufficient to ensure Ukraine continues to have access to critical American equipment. But it would be fair if, within NATO, and especially in Europe, we could see other allies step up their efforts as well,” the Secretary General explained.
According to Rutte, Ukrainian troops are performing well on the battlefield, but need more support from their partners.
Earlier, “Pryamoy” reported that Ukraine and NATO discussed the main areas of cooperation within the framework of the Joint Analysis, Training, and Education Center (JATEC).
It was also reported that Russia could pose a threat to NATO countries in the near future , and the Kremlin’s accusations against the Baltic countries could be part of preparations for opening a second front against the Alliance.
