“Putin needs not only Donbas, but all of Ukraine”: Syrsky revealed the Kremlin’s plans

Oleksandr Syrsky met with members of the newly established Military Expert Council ARES (Allied Reform and Expert Support), British General Sir Richard Shirreff and Slovak General Pavel Macko.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that he and his colleagues had a meaningful conversation about the situation on the front, about new tactics and the use of certain types of weapons, and informed that the Russian Federation intends to seize not only Donbas, but also all of Ukraine, and about the systematic weakening of such intentions by the Defense Forces of the enemy by destroying its resources, logistics, and military potential while maintaining stability at all levels through both internal resources and international support.

At the same time, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed gratitude to foreign partners for their willingness to strengthen military and political support for Ukraine.

In addition, Syrsky hopes that the ARES Council will become a permanent channel of communication between the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the professional military community of partner countries to work side by side for a common goal.

Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that the Russian army has intensified offensive actions along almost the entire front line, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting active defense and in March regained control over almost 50 sq. km of territory.

By the way, the idea of renaming part of Donbass to “Donnyland” was discussed during the negotiations to attract US support. Another option involved the creation of a semi-autonomous entity in this territory based on the “Monaco model.”
