Starlink blocking for Russians: what does Musk really want?

Regarding the Starlink story, one thought came to mind: Elon Musk’s attitude towards our war and our government in this war has always been neutral-negative.
And in principle, he doesn’t care how he gets paid for using Starlink technology – through gray schemes or white ones. A person with a fortune of 780 billion dollars who is preparing a flight to Mars has slightly different priorities and life logic. This logic is not even worth trying to understand at our level.
And then suddenly he took it and went to meet the Russians, in fact, turning off Starlinks. Yes, I understand that we also “fell” somewhere else, but for us this is a purely organizational issue, not a matter of principle – is it there or not.
What does it mean to cut off Starlink from the Russians? It means to throw off the capabilities of command and control of troops and situational awareness to the level of early 2022, which is critical in today’s conditions. That is, to create a technological advantage for us with just one click of a computer mouse. How to move a unit in the game.
At this point, I would even question the very tactics of infiltration of Russian troops. The escort and support of these infiltration groups is carried out by drones in real time. And the drones run on Starlink. There is no alternative to Starlink. Maybe the Russians will come up with something. But this takes time, and time is blood.
That is, such help from the neutral-negative Elon Musk, which at the moment can be cooler than a hundred Tomahawks. Why would that be? Are they really best friends with Fedorov?
Or maybe “indifferent people” in the US asked for it? Maybe this is a kind of replacement for sanctions that Trump does not want to implement? Or maybe this is revenge on Trump for the fact that political relations did not work out? I think the question of why Musk did this is a separate topic for publications.
But it’s good that we found common ground with him.
Let us remind you that the Starlink satellite terminals of the occupation army on the front stopped working . In particular, propagandist Vladimir Romanov stated that the Russians had lost communication “along the entire front line.” Now the enemy is in a panic due to their dependence on satellite communication, they emphasize that there are no analogues yet, but a replacement must be found.
Later, Sergey “Flash” Beskrestnov, the Defense Minister’s advisor on technological areas, reported that the Russian occupation forces were experiencing significant problems due to the shutdown of Starlink terminals . According to him, the enemy had stopped assault operations in some sections of the contact line.
