In addition to the direct destruction, recent strikes on enemy territory have had significant economic and logistical consequences. In particular, in the Kuban region, strikes on substations left 13,000 customers without power in one district of the Krasnodar Territory.
Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk, expressed his belief on the air of “Pryamoy” that these disruptions should expand throughout the territory of the aggressor country.
“Mosk@l should not live in comfortable conditions. But Ukraine itself is fulfilling a historical mission… now we are helping them return to the solidity of this life,” noted Bratchuk, emphasizing the broader significance of these actions.
According to him, strikes on oil refineries, in particular the Slavyansk Refinery, which provides troop concentrations on the southern front and in the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration, are a direct blow to the economy and the aggressor’s ability to wage combat operations.
According to the UDA spokesman, targeted attacks on logistics hubs, such as those in Rostov and Stavropol, which are part of the so-called Southern Military District, are forcing the enemy to change supply routes – this applies to the provision of temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhia, Kherson regions, and Crimea.
The importance of such strikes is growing, as they aim not only to cause damage, but also to completely paralyze the aggressor’s production, which requires multiple hits on the same objects, added Serhiy Bratchuk.
Recall that on the night of December 18, the Rostov region of the Russian Federation was attacked by drones . Rostov-on-Don, Bataysk and Taganrog were hit. Photos and videos of flares and the work of Russian air defense appeared on social networks. Power outages were also recorded in a number of settlements in the region.
As reported, on the night of December 17, 2025, Ukrainian troops attacked the Slavyansky oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia. In addition, the General Staff confirmed the strikes on the Nikolaevskaya oil depot in the Rostov Region. The tank and the river vessel Captain Gibert were damaged there.
