The Russian Federation has significantly expanded its capabilities in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, which allows the aggressor to carry out massive combined strikes even during the day. Also, the Russian special services continue to attempt to organize terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine.

Ivan Stupak, a military analyst and former SBU employee, spoke about this on the air of “Pryamoy”.

According to him, while last year the Russians launched about 4,500 devices every month, now this figure is approaching 5,500 units. The situation indicates the accumulation of resources for a long-term confrontation.

“Let’s understand once again, the possibilities are there, they are expanding, they are investing a lot of resources in the manufacture of drones, the purchase of electronics, microelectronics, and components,” explains Stupak, commenting on the technical potential of the invaders.

He noted that the recent combined attack, during which 392 drones of various types were recorded, including the Italmas, Gerbera and Parody models, is not the limit. Events in the Middle East help the aggressor to fill the budget, which allows him to circumvent sanctions and purchase parts for weapons. The analyst believes that the enemy is preparing even more massive strikes in the near future, using the accumulated “cube”.

The military analyst also expressed concern over the atypical activity of enemy drones in broad daylight. “The question is, why did they go so crazy? They didn’t have time to finish the evening shift and the day shift has already begun,” the studio guest commented on the situation.

In addition, Stupak analyzed the recent incidents in Bucha and Lviv, where law enforcement officers were injured. According to him, Russian special services continue to attempt to organize terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine, targeting employees of the National Police.

“A call came in to line 102 saying that there was a domestic quarrel, someone was being killed there, a woman was calling, patrol police arrived, and they were met by a stretcher in the apartment,” the former SBU employee recalled.

The analyst noted that the enemy has used such methods of intimidation before. Russian curators recruit perpetrators through messengers to plant explosives in public places, near shopping centers or in garbage cans, Ivan Stupak added.

As a reminder, on the afternoon of March 24, Russia carried out one of the largest air attacks on Ukraine, using over 550 drones. The Russian Federation hit Poltava, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia regions, as well as the western regions from Khmelnytskyi to Lviv. Hits were recorded in 15 locations. Including night attacks, Russia has sent over a thousand drones over Ukraine since the evening of March 23.

Earlier, a spokesman for the Air Force said that the drones moved in “columns,” and the geography of the strikes during the day turned out to be wider than at night . The drones came from different directions – from the south, the north, and across the front line. Most of them were recorded from the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

In addition, on March 24, Russian occupation forces attacked Lviv with strike drones. As a result of the Russian strike, at least two people were seriously injured. At the same time, residential buildings in the center of Lviv and in Sykhiv were damaged. It is likely that the wreckage of the enemy drone fell at the beginning of Bandera Street.
