The 2026 World Cup group stage has concluded. Following the final matches in Groups J, K, and L, all playoff participants have been determined.
In Group K, Colombia drew 0-0 with Portugal to retain first place. Portugal finished second.
The DR Congo team defeated outsider Uzbekistan with a score of 3:1 and advanced to the 1/16 finals from third place.
The final standings in Group K look like this:
In Group L, England beat Panama 2-0, while Croatia beat Ghana 2-1. All teams except Panama advanced to the knockout stages.

In Group J, Austria prevented Algeria from moving up to second place, drawing 3-3. Argentina, as expected, defeated Jordan 3-1 to take first place. All teams except Jordan advanced to the knockout round.

It is worth noting that the teams from DR Congo, Sweden, Ghana, Ecuador, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Algeria, Paraguay and Senegal advanced to the playoffs from third place.
The losers were the teams of Iran, South Korea, Scotland and Uruguay.
Thus, all pairs of the 1/16 finals of the 2026 World Cup have been determined.
The first playoff match between South Africa and Canada will take place today, June 28, at 10:00 PM Kyiv time.
