The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the fake news about the capture of the village of Ivolzhanske in Sumy region

The defense forces denied information about the capture of the village of Ivolzhanske, Sumy region, by the enemy.

This was reported by the Kursk group of troops on Facebook.

“The settlement is under full control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and is located deep behind our positions. There are no assault actions or enemy presence in this area,” the report says.

In particular, the military emphasized that reports of battles involving the 71st Brigade are “another manipulation by Russian headquarters dreamers who randomly take the names of Ukrainian units and write them on the map, drawing arrows of their offensives.”

“Apparently, tired of being screwed over in their own border area, Russian generals are advancing the front line in the only way available to them – the keyboard. Therefore, while the enemy is covering kilometers in the imagination of enemy officers, the only territory they truly reliably control is their own news feed,” the unit noted.

It was previously reported that on Wednesday, June 24, Russian occupiers used drones to strike a cinema in the center of Konotop, Sumy region . Two people were injured.
