The Kremlin has compromising material on Trump: diplomat names key signs

US President Donald Trump has “some kind of dependence” on the Kremlin – perhaps compromising material – which is why he is not applying tough and effective solutions against Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, although all the prerequisites for this have long been ripe.
This opinion was expressed on the air of “Pryamoy” by Volodymyr Ogryzko, diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2007-2009, head of the Center for Russian Studies.
“This is precisely the main mystery – to find out why he is so sympathetic to Putin. I recommend reading the memoirs of those people who worked with Trump. I recommend that everyone who wants to understand a little about what Trump is and how he acts, read the memoirs of Bolton, who worked for him as a national security adviser in his first term. And he has interesting details there. He writes that as soon as the topic of Russia came up at some events or during meetings, Trump immediately switched the topic to something else. And he says that it was really extremely interesting to observe, because it prompts some thoughts, conclusions and, perhaps, suspicions,” Ogryzko noted.
At the same time, he did not rule out that Trump has “some dependence” on the Kremlin, which is why he does not apply tough decisions against Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have anything yet to say yes, this is some kind of pattern, this is some kind of dependence, but the analysis of how Trump reacts to all of Russia’s crimes personally pushes me to the idea that there really is something. And this “something” is holding him back from adequate, normal decisions that should have been applied long ago. And Trump has something to apply. He has a full pocket, as he likes to say, of cards. And the cards there are clearly not sixes, there are, you know, trump aces. And he can do it very quickly and very effectively,” emphasized Ukrainian diplomat Volodymyr Ogryzko.
It should be noted that the day before, Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa made a loud statement about US President Donald Trump, calling him a Soviet and Russian agent . According to de Sousa, Trump’s policy actually works in favor of the Kremlin and harms the unity of the West in countering Russian aggression.
At the same time, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not want to sit down at the negotiating table with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. And it is not just about ideological hostility. The very fact of such a meeting would be a strategic failure for the Kremlin – it would emphasize what Russia is trying to hide with all its might: Ukraine has survived.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said he would not like to attend a summit between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, while comparing the leaders of Ukraine and Russia to “oil and vinegar” because they “don’t get along very well for obvious reasons.”
