Amid a rapid escalation of tensions in the Middle East, Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged its citizens to urgently depart from the State of Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry emphasized that these measures are aimed at preventing potential threats to the lives and health of Ukrainian citizens amid the escalating situation in the region.

Ukrainian diplomatic missions in both countries are operating in enhanced mode — compiling evacuation lists and preparing logistical routes for departure. Citizens who remain in Israel or Iran are urged to strictly follow security protocols, monitor official updates closely, and be ready for immediate evacuation if necessary.

“Important information for Ukrainians currently in Israel”

The Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel recommends:

    • Download the “Home Front Command” app, or follow the Pikud HaOref website — here you can find updated information about missile threats, shelters, dangerous zones, etc.

    • Stay near shelters, avoid crowded places, and do not travel unnecessarily.

    • Independent exit options: Sheikh Hussein checkpoint (to Jordan) – open daily from 08:00 to 14:00. Eilat – Taba checkpoint (to Egypt) – 24-hour pedestrian crossing. Check the schedule and operating conditions of border checkpoints, in particular regarding visa requirements (electronic visa to Jordan: moi.gov.jo ). Information on border crossing fees: IAA.

    • Contacts of the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel: emergency email address for evacuation: embassyukraineisrael@gmail.com. Emergency phone number: +972 54 667 67 82 (Telegram/Viber)

It is worth noting that the embassy does not accompany evacuation columns for security reasons. All responsibility for the movement lies with the individual citizens.

“Key guidance for Ukrainians staying in Israel”

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Islamic Republic of Iran reports:

    • It is recommended to independently plan exit routes through: the “Norduz/Agarak” point (border with Armenia). “Bazargan/Serou” point (border with Turkey).

    • Required documents: passport, documents for children, documents confirming citizenship.

Ukrainians are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities, stay calm, and monitor updates closely. The Embassy continues to provide information on new evacuation routes and available options.

Recall that on the night of Friday, June 13, the Israeli army launched a large-scale operation against Iran and massively attacked nuclear and military facilities.

As reported, more than 70 people were killed in an airstrike carried out by Israel on the Iranian capital, Tehran.

In addition, as a result of the Iranian attack on Israel on June 14, a family of Ukrainians from Odessa died.

By the way, US President Donald Trump said that Iran is ready to de-escalate the situation amid the escalating conflict with Israel.
