The Russian trail again: why Bankova is actually pursuing Kudrytsky

The current government has been building a dictatorship in Ukraine since 2019, removing those it dislikes and shifting responsibility for its own failures onto them. In particular, Bankova launched a disinformation campaign against the former head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, in the interests of Justice Minister Herman Galushchenko, who is connected to pro-Russian figures.
This was stated on the air of “Pryamoy” by Sofia Fedyna, a member of parliament from the “European Solidarity” faction.
“Since 2019, our government has been clearly and steadily building a dictatorship, usurping power and trying to establish control over all processes. And for the most part, this is absolutely unhealthy control. The second important point is that this is not just catching up with those who are unpleasant, but also shifting the blame. The government understands that they did not do certain things, they are involved in embezzling money, in disrupting many processes. But they cannot say: “Yes, we are guilty, forgive us.” They are looking for someone to blame,” Fedyna noted.
According to her, Bankova has monopolized the country’s information space and, with the help of controlled media and anonymous Telegram channels, continues a disinformation campaign against undesirable individuals. “Even in yesterday’s case in the Pechersk court, we see how much the court is subordinate to Bankova and follows all instructions. The fact that Kudrytsky is accused of embezzlement for the same amount, while the bail there is ten times larger, is also unacceptable,” the People’s Deputy added.
“Why was Kudrytsky attacked now? Kudrytsky, in particular, in his recent interview, made public how Galushchenko thwarted the installation of mini-CHPs, in particular in the Chernihiv region. After all, this entire project was blocked for all of Ukraine. Mini-CHPs, which provided for the decentralization of energy flows, accordingly, people would not be left in a total blackout even during the strikes of certain targets by the Russian Federation. Galushchenko, according to Kudrytsky, blocked all these things, given that he did not like the companies of Kudrytsky and others, since it was they who won the competition, won the tender for the possibility of installing these mini-CHPs,” the studio guest explains the reasons for the political persecution of the ex-head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky.
In addition, the MP emphasized that there are many questions about the current Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko, including his ties to pro-Russian activist Andriy Derkach, who lobbied for the interests of the Russian Federation in the Ukrainian energy sector.
“This person is responsible for the fact that we did not have enough defense facilities, that our energy sector was not protected, that energy sector was not decentralized, that we have a crazy level of embezzlement of funds in the energy sector, and that part of the funds that were allocated for defense facilities were not spent. That is, we have a failure in providing our state with energy,” noted the People’s Deputy from “European Solidarity” Sofia Fedyna.
We will remind, the former executive director of NPC Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi became a subject of an investigation conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation . Investigators are checking his involvement in abuse of office and misappropriation of state company funds. The check concerns a possible artificial increase in the volume of deforestation and overestimation of the cost of work during the construction of energy highways.
Later, it became known that the State Bureau of Investigation raised new suspicions against businessman Ihor Hrynkevich, who is currently in custody, and detained the former head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky in the Lviv region . He is accused of fraud on a particularly large scale and legalization of funds obtained by criminal means.
On October 29, the Pechersk Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for Kudrytskyi – he was sent to custody for two months, until December 26, with the possibility of bail in the amount of 13 million 730 thousand hryvnias. On October 30, bail was posted for the former head of Ukrenergo in the amount of almost 14 million hryvnias.
