For the first time, the Russian occupation forces have included in their plans a clause on the creation of a so-called buffer zone in Vinnytsia region from the unrecognized Transnistria. However, despite the recorded intentions of the enemy, the Russians currently do not have real forces to seize territories in this region.

This was reported on the air of “Pryamoy” by military-political analyst Dmytro Snegirev, commenting on the data of the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Pavlo Palisa.

“The number of the so-called Russian group in Transnistria, according to various estimates, is a maximum of 1,500 people. Together with the Transnistrian army, there will be 7,000. So what zones are we talking about?” – noted the studio guest.

In his opinion, such statements by officials may be an attempt to intercept the information initiative against the backdrop of the fading of the Ukrainian topic in the world media.

The analyst recalled that previous attempts by the enemy to create similar zones in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions ended in failure. In particular, in the Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian defense forces established full control over Kupyansk, while in the Sumy region, the advance of the invaders was limited to only five kilometers.

The occupiers are unable to provide logistics for new units in Transnistria, since this enclave is completely isolated from Russian communications, – summed up Dmitry Snegirev.

As a reminder, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa stated that Russia is considering the possibility of creating a so-called “buffer zone” not only in the north and east of Ukraine, but also in Vinnytsia region – on the side of unrecognized Transnistria. According to him, this item has appeared in the Russian Federation’s plans for the first time. At the same time, there is currently no reason for panic.

Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported that Russian troops are continuing offensive operations and are seeking to create a “buffer zone” in the Dnipropetrovsk region . At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are conducting active defense and inflicting losses on the enemy. In addition, the Russians are trying to create a 20-kilometer “buffer zone” along the border in Sumy and Kharkiv regions , capturing border villages.
