Ukraine allowed to take the theoretical exam on traffic rules in English

In Ukraine, the theoretical exam on knowledge of the Rules of the Road can now be taken not only in Ukrainian, but also in English. The new opportunity is available to foreigners and stateless persons who are legally residing in the country.
This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhivskyi.
According to him, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have expanded the language options for taking the theoretical exam. Candidates who are subject to the new rules can independently choose Ukrainian or English for the testing language.
The translation of exam questions into English complies with the current Traffic Regulations.
The exam procedure itself has not changed. The candidate must answer 20 questions in 20 minutes , with no more than two errors allowed.
You can register for the exam online through the “E-Registration” service or its mobile application. Registration is also available directly at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center via a self-service terminal.
Previously, theoretical exams at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers were conducted exclusively in Ukrainian. Back in April, the Ministry of Internal Affairs submitted changes for public discussion that provided for the possibility for foreigners and stateless persons to take the theory test in English.
Recall, earlier “Pryamiy” wrote that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is preparing changes to the procedure for taking driving license exams . Among the proposed innovations was the opportunity to take theoretical testing in English.
