Ukrainian Drones Strike Russian UAV Training Hub — ‘Magyar’ Reveals Details

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian army UAV operator training center in temporarily occupied Khrustalne, Luhansk region.

 

This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brody.

 

 

According to him, the operation was carried out on May 5 in the deep rear of the enemy—approximately 90 kilometers from the line of combat contact.

 

Units of the 9th “Kairos” Battalion of the 414th “Ptakhi Magyar” Brigade, together with units of the SBU, were involved in the strike.

 

The Ukrainian military carried out 15 drone strikes, using ammunition weighing about 100 kilograms.

 

The buildings of the training complex and temporary deployment point, with a total area of over 8,000 square meters, were hit.

 

According to the military, the center housed artillery adjustment operators, drone operators, instructors, and officers.

 

Transport was also located on the territory – up to 30 passenger cars.

 

Separately, Ukrainian forces conducted additional reconnaissance and recorded the results of a preliminary strike on the Russian radar station “Kasta.”

 

Information about losses among enemy personnel is currently being clarified.

 

As previously reported, on the night of May 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck several important military and industrial facilities of the Russian army, including the VNIIR-Progress plant in Cheboksary and the Kiryshsky oil refinery in the Leningrad region.

 

As a reminder, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Forces, struck oil refining infrastructure in the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation.
