The spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk, assessed the information about the Russian Federation’s intentions to expand the combat zone to the Vinnytsia region. Although such plans are voiced by the leadership of the President’s Office, at the moment the enemy does not have sufficient resources to implement such large-scale aggressive ideas.
Bratchuk told about this on the air of “Pryamoy”.
In addition, according to him, offensive actions in the north are aimed not only at territorial gains, but also at creating constant information tension.
Commenting on the officials’ statements, Bratchuk emphasized: “As for the Vinnytsia region, this is the first time such information has really been heard. Until now, we have not spoken about such intentions of the enemy. Well, actually, if a combat general declares this, if the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine declares this, it is clear that such information, at least, exists.”
The speaker paid special attention to the situation around Transnistria and the southern regions. In his opinion, attempts to move towards the Odessa region across the state border from the occupied Moldovan territory are a suicidal plan due to the lack of logistical supplies.
However, despite the ambitions to seize Zaporizhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions, the real potential of the Russian economy and significant personnel losses cast doubt on the possibility of carrying out these operations in the near future, the UDA spokesman explains.
As a reminder, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa stated that Russia is considering the possibility of creating a so-called “buffer zone” not only in the north and east of Ukraine, but also in Vinnytsia region – on the side of unrecognized Transnistria. According to him, this item has appeared in the Russian Federation’s plans for the first time. At the same time, there is currently no reason for panic.
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported that Russian troops are continuing offensive operations and are seeking to create a “buffer zone” in the Dnipropetrovsk region . At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are conducting active defense and inflicting losses on the enemy. In addition, the Russians are trying to create a 20-kilometer “buffer zone” along the border in Sumy and Kharkiv regions , capturing border villages.
