“We Are Being Distracted”: Bankova Street Erupts After NABU Raids

The authorities, aided by professional ZEbotva and the merely incompetent ZEkta, put on full display their anti-crisis skills during the NABU searches at the committees of the Verkhovna Rada and the offices of the “Servant of the People” party in the Parkovy business centre—the former helipad of Yanukovych.

We witnessed everything that the collective green brain could produce—and, as usual, what it produced was complete primitiveness.

First, we were told that Zelenskyy is a victim of a conspiracy involving Moscow, Trump, and NABU. And, of course, the opposition. According to them, look! Zelenskyy goes to negotiations, and then there’s Russian shelling and NABU searches—clearly on Trump’s orders!

It’s very easy to debunk. You know, if a married woman is caught in someone else’s bed, it’s not because there’s a conspiracy involving Puylo, Trump, and NABU; it’s because there’s less need to jump on… beds. If NABU is pursuing large-scale corruption cases, it’s not because Zelenskyy is going to negotiations—it’s because a criminal investigation is underway and there are grounds for it.

The fact that Zelenskyy is travelling somewhere is not proof—he has been on the move constantly lately. Why should the anti-corruption agencies stop working in the meantime? Yes, the people protest—but cardboard protests prove nothing.

The opposition’s reproaches are generally pathetic. ZEbotva accuses them, saying the opposition thinks only in terms of elections. And the government thinks only in terms of elections. This is precisely why dirty provocations against deputies Siumar and Kniazhytsky occurred; this is why Poroshenko is under sanctions; and this is precisely why opposition TV channels were cut off from cable without explanation or documentary justification.

And so. Recently, any mention of elections during the war was immediately dismissed as exclusively Russian IPSO propaganda or “rocking the boat.” Now, Arakhamia is ranting about the formats for holding such elections. What can we expect from the authorities tomorrow? Where else will “Russian IPSO” suddenly become their agenda?

The next argument is that the UDO did not allow NABU detectives into the Verkhovna Rada because NABU supposedly lacked the proper documents. Really? Then why were they allowed in at all? Who was in charge—the UDO or ZEbotva? The question is rhetorical.

Another argument, characteristically repeated from both sides—ZEbotva and the hordes of bot-commenters (fake “powder bots”)—claims that NABU is conducting searches but that not a single case has reached court. From this, two astonishing conclusions are drawn simultaneously. According to ZEbotva, NABU’s searches are mere noise for the sake of noise; according to the fake powder bots, the authorities are using them to distract everyone from betraying the country.

Well, Yermak resigned to distract from betrayal, right? And Galushchenko left a highly profitable position to distract us. This paranoia—“we are being distracted”—is precisely what the authorities exploit, using their own scum whenever they need to divert attention. However, the armored vehicles seen in UAV footage are not always fake targets—sometimes they are real armoured personnel carriers. I speak from experience as a UAV reconnaissance pilot.

They are not distracting us—that much is obvious.

As for the courts… I sincerely thank ZEbotva for this stunning conclusion. Because in 2019, the “svinarchuks” case also did not reach court, and there are still no verdicts. Yet it was precisely the Greens who speculated heavily on the “svinarchuks case.” It was thanks to this scandal that Zelenskyy became president.

It’s about time to either apologize to Poroshenko for the baseless accusations or swallow the bowl of filth once prepared for political opponents. I trust the Greens will relish every bite.

And so. If the NABU searches were just for show, then why did NABU attempt to limit independence after the searches at the house where Zelenskyy lives? Why were Galushchenko and Yermak dismissed after other searches, and why did Mindich and Yuzyk (as they write) flee abroad?

Meanwhile, the usual “green noise” continued to circulate in the comments: “They are all the same,” “Poroshenko appointed these judges!” (hello to the story of how Zelenskyy violated the Constitution by dismissing the head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine), “Poroshenko passed all the laws!” (I wonder what the Green monolithic majority in Parliament was doing for SEVEN years?).

The most brilliant claim I’ve read is: “Poroshenko controlled NABU”! Well, yes. And he gave instructions to the US State Department. And he walked along the Dnieper as if on dry land. Is that true?

The anti-crisis measures were clearly being rushed, with instructions even being leaked through TG dumps (see scan).

It is obvious—the authorities panicked.
