“We want to hear answers”: Discontent is growing in the Servant of the People faction

There has been no peace within the Servant of the People faction for a long time, and dissatisfaction is growing among deputies due to the lack of communication with the leadership and the lack of answers to pressing issues that concern society.

This was reported on the air of “Pryamoy” by People’s Deputy from “Servant of the People” Elizaveta Yasko.

According to her, parliamentarians are feeling pressure from voters and are demanding transparency regarding personnel decisions and the fight against corruption.

“I can confirm that in our faction there has been no peace for a very, very long time, where everyone likes everything and everyone can relax. On the contrary, because people come to their districts… People are dissatisfied all around,” the elected official said.

Yasko recalled that there was previously an agreement on systematic meetings with the President, but it is not being implemented. Deputies want to understand the principles by which personnel decisions are made in order to be able to explain them to voters and themselves, she added.

“I really hope that we will have a meeting with the president in the near future… And of course I would like the president to come to parliament,” the studio guest said.

Therefore, as the People’s Deputy noted, this internal tension is one of the factors that pushes part of the faction to more decisive statements and initiatives, in particular regarding the creation of a new government. The desire to receive a clear strategy and justice is becoming the main driving force for many members of the monomajority, – summarized the representative of the “Servant of the People” Elizaveta Yasko.

As a reminder, Fedir Venislavsky, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People faction and a former presidential representative in the Verkhovna Rada and the Constitutional Court, believes that the head of the OP, Andriy Yermak, should be dismissed . As he explained, the discussion of his resignation was led by information from MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak about Yermak’s involvement in the “Mindich tapes”, where he allegedly appears under the code name “Ali Baba” .

In addition, MP Mykyta Poturayev stated that the “servants” propose to immediately begin negotiations on the formation of a new coalition in parliament and the formation of a new government. In response, the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arakhamia, emphasized that the statement on the formation of a parliamentary coalition and a new government is only the position of individual MPs .
