As a result of recent shelling of critical infrastructure in Ukraine, including energy facilities, many regions of the country have experienced prolonged power outages. This creates additional difficulties for the population, especially in the conditions of the need to maintain communication and access information. However, there are places where you can charge mobile devices for free and stay connected.
There are power points across Ukraine — specially equipped places where citizens can access electricity to charge gadgets, use the Internet, and get the necessary assistance in case of emergencies. These points operate 24/7 and are equipped with generators, which allows for a stable power supply even during long outages.
To find the nearest indestructible point, you can use the ” Action ” mobile application. In the “Services” section, select “Indestructible”, then click on the three dots in the upper corner of the screen and select “Downloaded maps”. There you can save a map of your area for offline access. This will allow you to quickly find the nearest points even without an Internet connection.
In addition to the unbreakable points, you can also charge your gadgets in some supermarkets and other establishments that support the “Unbreakable” initiative. For example, the ATB-Market chain offers its customers the opportunity to recharge mobile devices in stores that operate as unbreakable points. This is convenient for those who are in areas where power outages last for a long time.
The most famous networks that have joined the “Unbreakable” initiative:
- Silpo is a supermarket chain that also joined the initiative, providing visitors with the opportunity to charge their devices.
- Epicenter is a large retail chain that not only sells building materials, but also actively supports the initiative by providing places to charge gadgets.
- Fora is a supermarket chain that provides its customers with the opportunity to charge mobile devices during power outages.
- Metro Cash & Carry is a wholesale and retail chain that also joined the initiative, providing places to charge gadgets.
- Varus is a supermarket chain that supports the initiative by providing visitors with the opportunity to charge their devices.
- Billa is a supermarket chain that also joined the initiative, providing places to charge gadgets.
- Novus is a supermarket chain that actively supports the initiative, providing visitors with the opportunity to charge their devices.
- Tavria B is a supermarket chain that supports the initiative by providing visitors with the opportunity to charge their devices.
In the event of prolonged power outages, it is recommended to:
- Charge your gadgets: Use power points or supermarkets to charge your mobile devices.
- Store information: Download maps and contacts of important services to your phone.
- Prepare for outages: Have chargers, power banks, and other essentials with you to stay connected.
- Stay up to date: Check information about power outages and the operation of emergency services through official sources.
Despite the difficult conditions, Ukrainians can stay connected and receive the necessary assistance thanks to a network of inviolability points and supermarket support. By using available resources and following recommendations, you can reduce the negative impact of power outages and ensure the necessary level of communication and safety.
