Why is everyone having such a hard time with Trump? First of all, rational arguments practically don’t work with him – despite his demonstrative positioning that “I am, first and foremost, a successful businessman.”

He reacts purely on emotional grounds. Despite the fact that he is a pronounced narcissist. Anyone who takes into account this specific feature of his (banners with exaggerated thanks, “at least 5 Nobel Peace Prizes”) gets the most out of the interaction.

And those who treat Trump as a typical politician (who in principle reacts only to rational arguments and plans) and freely behaves with standard media techniques, face unpleasant surprises. Anyone can try to insult Trump (for example, declare, like Medvedev, that his ultimatum is “theatrical” and that he was “not noticed”). However, no one has yet managed without harsh consequences.

And speaking of rational arguments. Nuclear blackmail is actually also a completely rational argument – although it supposedly presses on fear and should cause panic. But everything is very rational: there is a red button, the pressing of which must be confirmed by a bunch of people. There are warheads that must be in proper condition, as well as carriers, as well as launchers. There is a collective security system, specific interceptors and air defense to neutralize this. That is, there are rules and restrictions.

But Trump’s insults are a purely emotional sphere. They cannot be ignored, as with ordinary politicians, in whom state interests are separate, personal reactions are separate. Trump acts on the basis of his emotions, he does not forgive anyone an insult in any way. Although he can portray condescending condescension. And this moment of the rules of interaction with Trump, Putin cannot “catch up” in any way. So every time (and not without the active help of his entourage and the Kremlin pool) he steps on this rake.

Recall, the day before, Trump announced the transfer of up to 17 Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine and a large amount of other military aid, which will be partially financed by European allies. The president also threatened Russia with 100% tariffs if a peace agreement on Ukraine is not reached within 50 days.

Meanwhile, the United States is preparing to transfer weapons to NATO allies worth about $10 billion , with the subsequent delivery of this equipment to Ukraine. The agreement, signed by US President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, provides for the transfer of the most modern weapons, including missiles, air defense systems and artillery ammunition.

According to Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Myroslav Gay, these 50 days that US President Donald Trump gave the Kremlin for a peaceful settlement will not significantly affect the course of the war, because the key goal of such a step is to personally humiliate the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and prepare new sanctions.

At the same time, according to experts, Trump is actively promoting the idea of transferring Patriot, but official agreements with key partners — the United States, the European Union and NATO countries — have not yet been reached . In particular, the issue of financing the systems and logistics remains open. It is known that the American side insists on compensation for the supply of weapons, but who and when will pay for the equipment has not yet been decided.
