The Russian military damaged 90% of residential buildings in Mariupol

Russian terrorists have damaged 90% of residential buildings in Mariupol, 40% – can no longer be restored.

This was stated in an interview with UNIAN by mayor Vadym Boichenko.

“90% of the housing stock has been affected in one way or another. These are 2,600 houses, of which 60% are directly hit by “Hail”, howitzer or “Pinocchio” system. 40% is no longer recoverable. Mariupol needs a complete evacuation,” he said, adding that 50% of the city’s population had been evacuated.

In addition, 20-30 thousand people were deported to Russia.

“It is difficult to understand the logic here. People are still very scared and afraid to talk. They do not understand what will happen to them next. Not everyone has mobile phones or documents with them,” said the mayor.

According to him, the Russian military intends to wipe Mariupol off the face of the earth. They are deliberately destroying infrastructure and killing people. Boichenko is not ready to name the number of dead citizens.

“I do not want to scare anyone. I can say for sure that the official figure (2187 inhabitants – ed.) is much higher. It’s thousands of people,” he said.
