The U.S. Delivers a Cold Wake-Up Call: Enough with the Ceremonies

The Americans hesitate, counting each missile to avoid giving them away — and in doing so, offer the perfect moral license for continued terror against civilians.
And no, there’s more. As Politico reports, U.S. President Biden’s special representative, Steve Witkoff, is pushing for the lifting of sanctions on Russian energy. Modern American gentlemen know exactly how to help a killer finish off his victim.
But it would be a mistake to blame everything on Trump’s senile madness or Europe’s political impotence. Because at the very same time, inside our state, friends of the president are being rescued from prison, with Unity Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov as a textbook example. What better case study in how to spit on law enforcement, ignore public outrage, and walk free, thanks to the support of shady allies with equally unnatural sources of wealth?
Or take an even more outrageous case: the effort to shield corrupt defense contractors. Lie, steal, deliver worthless equipment to the front at the height of a Russian offensive — and you’ll be protected, as long as you’re close to power.
So it’s no surprise that, at the front, the situation is sometimes no better than in the cities under fire. The military lacks weapons, lacks manpower, and lacks even a hint of long-term perspective — and what kind of service can this be? The Russians study this mood very carefully. That’s why they target training grounds and Territorial Recruitment Centers: to ensure that even those who were willing to mobilize now think twice, or surrender in fear.
Diplomatic achievements? We’re seeing them in all their “glory” on the American front, where there is no discussion of security guarantees, let alone NATO membership. What is being discussed is how to sell U.S.-made missiles and ammunition to us, at any price we can manage.
Instead of endless presentations and roundtables filled with stands and slogans, it’s time to finally focus on how to shoot down Russian drones. Before Kyiv lies in ruins. While there is still someone left to pull the trigger.
Polished presentations and pompous gatherings are no match for the cold shock of reality: Russia has been building drone assembly plants for years. China is supplying components through sanctions loopholes. And even some of our so-called “staunch allies” are still doing business with Moscow — just the other day, it was revealed that several Czech companies had sent rare industrial machines to Russia.
So yes, our voice in the world is weak. And we’ve failed to communicate the most urgent truth: Russia’s blitz on Kyiv today is a preview. Tomorrow, the same fate awaits any European capital within reach of Russian hands.
The time when we were applauded in parliaments and summits is finally over. Now the question is: what weapons have you made with your own hands for victory?
As is known, the US temporarily suspended the supply of some anti-aircraft missiles and precision-guided munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about the level of its defense reserves. Later, the Pentagon assured that Washington would continue to work on solutions.
It should be noted that the decision of the US Department of Defense to stop sending certain types of weapons to Ukraine without warning came as a surprise not only to American diplomats but also to congressmen, who usually have access to such information. Subsequently, President Donald Trump stated that the US would continue to supply weapons to Ukraine.
In addition, as NBC reports, the US authorities have suspended the delivery of another package of weapons to Ukraine, citing possible risks of depleting its arsenals. At the same time, an analysis conducted by the Pentagon’s Joint Staff showed that assisting Ukraine does not jeopardize the defense capabilities of the US Armed Forces.
The temporary halt was initiated by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who is blocking arms supplies to Ukraine for the third time. The decision caused consternation at the State Department and among European allies, and also drew criticism from both parties in the US Congress.
