Mr. Zelenskyy, perhaps it’s time to end this “expanded consciousness” series. When a head of state appears to drift too freely between parallel realities, it stops being political performance art. It starts raising serious concerns—even among those long accustomed to the genre.

At the Munich Conference, a story worthy of Netflix was told: before the invasion, Zaluzhny flew to the US, spoke with Mark Milley, and asked for Javelins and Stingers, and in response brought the sacramental: “dig trenches.” The drama, the tension, the betrayal of the allies—everything is in place.

The only thing missing is facts.

Because Zaluzhny’s first personal meeting with Millie took place only in January 2023. Publicly. With cameras. With pathos. Moreover, remote cooperation. Without secret flights and conspiracy missions. There are simply no public traces of Zaluzhny’s visits to the US in 2021-2022. And a story of this magnitude cannot be swept under the carpet like a bad joke.

The second detail that undermines this narrative is that in January–February 2022, planes carrying real Javelins, Stingers, NLAWs, and ammunition were flying into Ukraine—dozens of them. According to official data, around 70 aircraft delivered military assistance ahead of the invasion. Is that what some would call “digging in” in the NATO style?

And another awkward quote. On February 19, 2022, in Munich, Zelenskyy personally thanked his partners for military support. Thanked. Publicly. Without any hints of “dig trenches.” Memory can be selective—but not to that extent.

Why this new version? It’s simple: to create the image of the only prophet who demanded weapons, while everyone else supposedly doubted. At the same time, it casts a shadow over a competitor. Does Putin-style lying betray common political strategists? Prigozhin’s bot farms have already existed!

This is not a mistake. This is live editing of the story.

Now imagine what Zelenskyy will say if someone does persuade him to run for office. If events from three years ago are so easily repackaged into a convenient scenario, what will happen to the facts that no one has had time to document?

When the government begins to construct the past, the future becomes dangerously flexible. And then the question is no longer in imaginary trenches. The question is the survival of the state!

Let us recall that on the evening of February 17, the trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia concluded in Geneva, Switzerland. According to the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustem Umerov, the parties had a joint party and later continued their work in groups. The political and military groups worked on the negotiations. The first ended about half an hour earlier.

Subsequently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made several key statements in a new interview with Axios regarding troop withdrawals and the negotiation process. According to him, US President Donald Trump is pressuring Ukraine to make territorial concessions to achieve peace, which he described as “unfair.”
In addition, upon returning to Kyiv, the head of state reported on the outcomes of the Ukrainian delegation’s participation in international security negotiations. According to him, the partners agreed on new support packages, including the delivery of air defense missiles to counter ballistic threats.
