Zaluzhny’s statements about the failure of the counteroffensive: why are they angry?

Zaluzhny told Western journalists why the counteroffensive of the summer of 2023 failed: “Zelensky and other officials did not allocate the necessary resources.” And immediately, a fierce panic broke out among the Greens. The entire ZEbotva was in a frenzied hysteria.

Although it’s enough to simply recall the chronology. So.

Autumn 2022. The Armed Forces of Ukraine unexpectedly knock the enemy out of the Kharkiv region. Izyum and Kupyansk are liberated. Without slowing down, the Armed Forces of Ukraine strike near Lyman. Lyman is liberated, the remnants of the enemy forces barely have time to escape the encirclement. Immediately, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attack in the Kherson direction and on November 11, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberate Kherson.

The ZEbotva is now diligently trying to drag the owl onto the globe, saying that it was all the merit of Syrsky, not Zaluzhny. But the fact cannot be denied.

There was Zaluzhny – there were victories. They fired Zaluzhny – the victories ended. Period.

Now let’s remember. In February 2023, Yermak reported with satisfaction that the headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (i.e. Zelensky) had taken the actions of the Armed Forces under its full control. That is, obviously, it did not previously keep the actions of the Armed Forces under full control, which means that the actions of the Armed Forces were under the control of… well, Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, of course. That’s his job.

It is characteristic that at about the same time the SBU’s harsh actions against the UOC-MP stopped. They probably also “took it under personal control.”

Further. All spring 2023, deputies of Zelensky’s party shouted that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine will go on the offensive!.. They even named approximate directions. In fact, you didn’t have to be Clausewitz to determine where they could. The occupiers, by the way, at the same time were strikingly strengthening their fortifications with concrete.

Zelensky said that the plans of the Ukrainian command in Moscow were in place back in April 2023. Well, that’s true. While the headquarters of the most influential person did not meddle in military affairs, for some reason no one talked about preparing for the offensive, and the offensive itself in the Kharkiv region came as a surprise to both enemies and friends. But when the headquarters of the most influential person took control of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine… the SBU surveillance teams stopped rushing to the headquarters of Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny, as happened in September 2022 – when the Armed Forces of Ukraine went ahead.

Finally. Last spring, the Americans openly said that yes, Zeluzhny was openly prevented from carrying out a counteroffensive. The New York Times reported that before the very counteroffensive, Zelensky’s headquarters (read: Yermak, Reznikov, Stefanchuk) suddenly divided all the allocated forces, means, and ammunition between Zaluzhny (who led the counteroffensive) and Syrsky (who defended Bakhmut). The American media directly stated that Zelensky’s headquarters’ decision was political, because they were very afraid of General Zaluzhny’s popularity.

Add to this that Zaluzhny, as head of the department, could not appoint the heads of the departments himself by law – they were appointed by Zelensky’s headquarters and the Ministry of Defense.

Put Bonaparte in such conditions and you will get a second escape from Moscow. One can only wonder how, in the conditions of such political games, Zaluzhny managed to liberate at least something – and even hold the front.

Actually, because of this, the authorities had to tolerate Zaluzhny until February 2024.

Now tell me – what of the above did we not know before? What caused such a violent hysteria among the Greens?

I think the Greens get hysterical every time Zaluzhny starts talking. Because the Greens understand very well WHAT Zaluzhny can tell about the preparations for the war and the first weeks of the war. Obviously, the time will come – he will tell.

And they will believe him. The greens know this very well too. That’s why they are angry.
